Replaced my '06 GS.
Many thaks to Allan Jefferies for the excellent deal they gave me, friendly staff, prepared to go out of their way at pretty much a moments notice....nice one.

Since it was delivered, last Saturday, I've fitted H&B engine bars, throttlemeister, satnav, side stand extender and front mudguard extender.

Not so sure about your home made centre stand extender though!

Am I the only one as well who isn't keen on the new side pods, I preferred the old style plain silver ones.

Looks like my bike has a twin very nice
is that the mount out of the zumo box didnt think it would fit there ?

yeah, and it's a bugger when I take the bike off the centre stand....because I nailed the plank of wood to the stand it causes havoc with the back tyre !!....still, keeps the tarmac in good nick.
Those panels.........mmmmm...wasn't too sure about them but they're growing on me....they'll have to

yes...standard mount out of the box. It's the only place I can see where it will fit. Wrapped some old inner tube rubber round the bar to protect and absort 'some' of the vibes....

My old RS in a couple of the photos is my all-year-round bike.....it's brilliant and needs a mention here. Comfortable, very capable and a joy to ride....

looks really sweet gordo. hopefully i'll get a chance to ride with this one too ;)

health to enjoy fella!!!

hi,nice bike-i have an 06 gs also.
would you mind telling the approx cost to change without including the panniers, gps etc

Whats with the plywood on the drive? Is it to stop the centre stand from getting scratched?

Nice bike! I here nothing but good reports about Allen Jeffery’s may head there next time ready to change.

Where you get the stuff you sprayed you number plate with to avoid camera detection, I must get some of that :-)

Put mine on the handle bar left side. but will move it now i know it fits above the clocks

Fits a treat and still allows the screen to be moved through the full range of adjustment. There's a little U-bolt in the bag of fittings that come with the Zumo, just use that and the ball ended thingy that's probably bolted to your bars now. One wonders if BMW had route cards / satnav in mind when they designed the asymmetric clocks, maybe not just quirky for the sake of it?
