New bike question ?

Hi guys, need some more advise please.
Checked the r1200gs over and have been told that the motor bike manual bracket, housing and rubber bungy is missing from my bike . Before i comfront the idiots at Jacksons I wouldnt mind getting my facts right.

1) should there be a bracket etc for the riders manual
2) Still not clear on the locks being supplied with the panniers
any help much appreciated, as always.
3) Im sure there is lots of advise on changing the screen. Please can i have some, the original is crap. Why do BMW not change it ???

  1) Yes but you don't really want to keep the handbook in there. Some people use it to mount an Autocom.
  
  2) They should be coded to the ignition key.
  
  3) Hot tip is the Givi screen with Adventure winglets if you don't want to run to the expense of the Adventure screen.

Not necessarily, my dealer wanted to charge quite a lot for this (top box as well). I refused as I prefer a separate key.

Mine doesn't have a manuel holder either, I don't care as I never use a Spanish waiter anyway
