New BMW Soft Luggage, For the GS

Now that I like. Having looked at the attachments ( https://www.press.bmwgroup.com/usa/oneclick/download/T0262310EN_US/attachment ) it looks really good, and its a shame that I've just ordered a Kriega US30 and US20 to go with the US20 that I already have. The only issue that I can see with this is that it will only work on the GSA unless you have a GS with the GSA pannier fittings. The fact that its BMW branded and you need three adapters means that it's going to be extortionate...

Actually the $US prices are included in the pdf attachment and they're eye watering...$US 484.00 left side pannier, $US 450.00 right side $US 327.00 top box and then there's the adapters etc.

And as soon as you turn your back, some fucker will steal it.
You simply can't compare soft and hard luggage.

I guess "some fucker" will steal them for their worth and ditch the contents ...

laughing ! yep , pricey aren't they !

I do like soft luggage, and there are some places we ride that have low crime levels.
But I'd be pretty wary about leaving those on a bike , perhaps on a ferry where they seem to specialise in stealing your belongings!

Looks way over-priced,so I can see why it might appeal to a GS rider !!
Think I prefer my Andy Strapz Expeds anyway.

I'll stick with my GSA top box and Kreiga combo.:rob

Those look like Walter Colebach's bags...what were they called Adventure spec or Siberian extreme? I forget now.
Whatever, double the price now:rolleyes:

Ah the joys of soft luggage, a brand new pair of Adidas Samba trainers and Levi jeans nicked out of the throwover panniers on a cross channel ferry and being sh@t feared to leave the bike parked up anywhere.

Give me lockable boxes any day .
