New BMW version of the 660 announced

It's called the BMW Motorrad Navigator IV:

It's got some new features:

The BMW Motorrad Navigator IV comes with a BMW exclusive, four-button motorcycle mount that enables many quick-key functions for extra control and usability. The mount and GPS device are vibration-tested, waterproof (IEC 529 IPX-7 standards), and designed to withstand fuel sprays and UV rays.

it looks like 3 of the extra 4 buttons are zoom in/out and speak, all not exactly hard to reach on the Zumo screen anyway, so I wonder how much extra BMW will charge for doubleing up on the buttons

And there's always the problems/confusion when it comes to mapping upgrades. IMHO better to stick with the mainstream Garmin product and plonk a European BMW dealership POI set on there yourself...

I had a look for a BMW bike POI list when I got my 660 a month ago and couldn't find one. Anyone know a source??

Pocket GPS World have a massive database of free POI's.

In the M/c section it lists 30 UK BMW m/c dealers.

You have to register, foc, to download the POI's. They do have a very good selection, so it's worth a look. Plus their speed camera db is one of the best, but you have to pay for that
