New bolts for me bike !!

Ktms seem to use flange bolts/screws for a lot of the parts that are screwed onto our bikes. However, the bolts have smaller heads that a normal fastener (ie 8mm spanner size on a M6 bolt as oppossed to a 10mm spanner size).

I am throwing a bit of money at my bike and whilst I can get original bolts etc( that will rust again in time), has anyone come across the smaller headed bolts in Stainless steel at all ??????????

you can search for more, just remember that stainless is not used for a reason, it dont rust but it is NOT as good in some applications as high tensile steel.

I had all my original bolts satin chrome plated when I did my "Light Resto" on my 950adv. It wasn't cheap but they look 100% factory but are 10x more durable.
