Got a pair of these for crimbo
http://www.megamarket.gr/diadoracrossbow-pi-37470.html

Like em a lot. only problem is they are a lot higher and wider than i am used to and changing gear is now a bit awkward, can't just slide foot across to change up and down. I have to lift my foot off the peg. Same with the rear brake.
What is the best option
Live with it or get some after market pegs and levers, if so which ones

02 650GS

It seems ludicrous to me to have to change levers and pegs just so you can use a pair of boots.

I assume they came from her indoors so sticking them on ebay and buying a pair that work on a bike is not an option ?

ive just done the same
i think you just got to break in

i couldnt tell in the shop how there gonna be on the bike any way:blast

Move the gear selector up one spline; and take the rubber insert off the standard footpeg.

Rather than getting your whole boot under the gear change lever just use the part of the sole that sticks out to the side, feels odd at first but you'll soon get the hang of it.

I'll give it a try.
Out of interest do you know if the BMW enduro pegs from the 1200 GSA and HP2 fit the 650 the fitting looks the same. The guys at Williams didn't know.

I'm pretty sure the foot rest are the same fitments as the 1150, 1200 and 12ADV (the ADV having wider foot plates)

I made some minor changes to Jill's 650gs so she could ride it with MX boots and her Tuareg boots.
She has quite short legs so I needed to file down the break peddle stop in order to raise the peddle up because she couldn't bend her ankle down enough to press it effectively with the MX boots on.

With the gear peddle I moved it up one or two splines and also removed the footrest rubbers (as has already been mentioned) and I think I bent it out wards a little too, so she could get at it properly.
