my bty seemed to be feeble and not holding it,s full charge after struggling to start the bike so got a mottobat replacement, bit peed off when it still wouldn,t start so did the starter strip and found the gear cover plate stuck to the armature, so went to the local leccie shop and got the plate for £2 well chuffed got home went to rebuild and broke the plastic piece, so went back with all the bits they put it together and tested it, the bloke said it was really sluggish and shown me it was slow,
so bit the bullet and asked them to fix it £93 total the armature was the culprit it now turns over fast and if it didn,t start it still sounds like it would turn over again which it wouldn't before,
glad I got to the bottom of it as a couple of times it had refused to start, but would like to thank the local co and mike for the starter strip, but does anyone know how to get the spring and plastic bit on when rebuilding
