On Thursday, I went along to give it a go.

It’s only been open for a few days, so the place is still very much finding its feet. There was only two tables occupied. That said, I enjoyed the food.
The place at the moment is unlicensed. I meant to ask if this was deliberate or whether they were waiting for the licence to come through. I also meant to ask if diners were allowed to bring their own. I’ll find out, next time I go.
The waiter was telling me that the owner has “Big plans”. The current restaurant occupies half the area of the curry house that was there before. The unoccupied half (to the left in the picture) is going to be turned into a fried chicken outlet. This will compete with the fish’n’chip / chicken shop, two doors down to the right. The owner also plans to open a ‘Turkish’ food place across the road, I guess where the greengrocer’s shop used to be.
