I feel that my 2008 R1200GSA is just a little too quiet...

I was looking at a Quill T3 can as I have had a pair on a previous bike, and they were fantastic quality!
.....and they sounded lovely (a nice deep rumble from the V-twin I had).

I was discussing this with a work mate, who suggested that I dont bother with the can, but bin the CAT.

He said that it free's up the engine, and the engine has a more fruity tone, and the headers costs laess than an end can...

What has anyone else done? Whats best?

Is the WARRANTY effected by fitting either??? If hasn't had its first service yet... should I wait until after that anyway - to be kind to the engine?

Advice please..

He is right.

Fitting either will invalidate the warranty if any problems are attributable to the modifications, and if you are stupid enough to leave the modifications in place before you take it to the dealer. ;)
