New Garmin V - what do I do now?!

I've been using a Garmin V (Dave Hall's old 'un) for a while now, but the battery hatch finally gave up the ghost. So I sent the unit back to Garmin with a cheque, and got a nice new 'un back.

Problem is, it won't upload any of my Mapsource maps, saying that they're not unlocked to this unit.

Now, given that those nice Garmin people sent me a new unit, I imagine that means I'm in for a world of hurt and pain trying to get new unlock codes of 'em. But even if I do, I have no idea how to upload them to my new V.

Any ideas anyone?! Apologies for being an utter GPS numpty.

Just ask Garmin for the new unlock codes to go with your new replacement V - shouldn't be an issue. They will need the serial No. from the back (if they haven't already got it).

Cheers Adam - I'll brave their "hold" system on the phone tomorrow...

Can't complain though - sent the unit off last Wednesday, got a brand new 'un back this morning by Parcelforce.
