New GS colours and a lower GSA

Ride height change on the fly would be handy. Drop it down to stop then lift back up again when rolling
Why is that so hard to do?

Faffing about with bike parked in neutral and button press delays is so Hexhead and pretty hopeless if it's going the wrong way and you have short legs. :-(

+1 me too

and the most common one (that BMW are now adding to their bikes) is that the fuel cap won't open. I had that happen to mine - what fun...

Maybe that's why Ducati supply a separate key for the fuel cap on my Diavel? I like the keyless ignition on it though.

I'll beta test the keyless, and will report back.:thumb:D

I also have a Ducati Diavel, but i would have preferred to have a conventional ignition key, as i'm always checking that the key is with me, and not left in the garage. And as you say, we still need to 'flick' the key out to open the filler cap.

However, having said that, the BMW system also operates the filler cap and the all the boxes and storage holes (on the RT), which is how Ducati should have done it:blast .....nice one BMW.:thumby:

More electronic crap to go wrong and then a £150 charge for new key

yes, i agree. nothing wrong with a simple conventional key. But at least BMW seem to have thought it through and executed the system properly.

agree : my former 1400 GTR was also a nuisance with the partly keyless FOB thing to start the bike , but you still needed a key for the fuel cap and panniers.

Key

Em I am going for Gear shift, but giving the keyless a miss. After being away in June with guys on Multistradas I don't want the hassle, cant beat sticking the key in the hole.

Delivery Sept.
