Yeah, I know it's subtle, but I think, for me, it works better than the dead straight version.
I think the key is to produce a graphic that has the look of a factory design and not some over the top, tacky, garish creation.
I think you've got this spot on. Bold but still understated in a purposeful style that's still in keeping with the over all marque of the machine.
