GSA pricing

No not full retail.

Discount price and no wise cracks like there is no discount on bm's always had discount normall about £1000 off, theres always a discount to be had.

I recken £13500 fully loaded is acheivable surly someone out there has got a deal?

Or maybe you all like to be mugged by the sales guys saying no discount blah blah blah.

Deals will depend on whether cash or finance, and p/x or not so it's difficult to give a figure. If you want to PM me I can let you know what I paid, but I traded 2 bikes in for it and got quite a lot above book for both.

If you think £13500 is acheivable why don't you go see if you can get it and report back :thumb2

Just interested to hear what some of you have paid. Either way Ill see the dealers at get a deal.

There is stock in the system so its all about surply and demand etc etc.

PM me direct if you prefer

Nice  in it for the tosser with the best lead of a dealer that loves to deal.

I know one.

From recent enquiries I do know that there is £500 to be had without even trying...

This was at two northern dealers straight off the bat. I will be trying much harder next week for sure.:)

Cheers

My 09 1200gsa came out at 14,500. I did without the ESA and haggled it to 12,000 with vario panniers. Mind you, that was in 2009.

I'd ring around dealers rather than ask us :nenau

.....but there wasn't much discount around when I bought a '10 GSA in May of that year...that was with all the options, panniers, and sat nav and a couple of other bits.

I rang around, and haggled the trade in....but there was very little movement on the GSA itself. I got some things thrown in, and a good deal on the panniers.

BMW sales were bouyant then, there not so bad now I don't think.

Personally I think you'll find they hit their limits very quickly....but the best way to find out is to get on that phone. :thumb2

when i wanted a 2010 gs i did my rounds and was told cash aint king dealers dont want straight cash deals thay want finance and your px makes sense! as they make money on the finance deal ! and if your trading they will make on your trade in even if its passed onto trade ! so in the end i brought a brand new pre-reg and saved £2600 because it was pre-reg, and i sold what was going to be my trade in for £500 more than they offered on evilbay.

They all seem to be different, best time is at the end of sales quarter, though if theyve met target they are a little more tight!
Wolaston seem to talk deals especially if no trade in, £500 to a grand should be do able in these economic times.
PM sent!

When I bought my new bike for cash with no p/x I tried most dealers from the Midlands up to Scotland and found Motorrad Central in Glasgow to be the best on price. They undercut the next best price by £500 which gave me around £1200 off MRRP. There was also an official free pannier deal at the time worth £600 so effectively it was an £1800 saving and the bike was delivered the 180 miles to my home for free. Its of note though that I bought one of the last new GSA's prior to arrival of the DOHC model so that may have got me a bit more discount than normal.

I'm not connected to the dealer BTW!!

I think if you're buying a full luggage set at the same time a £1500 discount should be possible if you haggle enough and go late in the month when they're trying to hit sales targets

GSA at a cut price

Thanks for the replies so far.

Got to £900 off so far but what more.

Patiance should be a virtue

Anyone got more? :D

I got £750 off mine plus a few freebies from the dealer, bought mine at the end of September 2010 and the dealership was like a ghost town.

I bought a demo DOHC GSA in December from Vines. It had all of 1k miles on

Mega savings compared to the figures you guys are mentioning with three boxes, liners, risers, tank bag n fender extender. :bounce1 :thumb

I'm surprised that with all your connections in the trade Graham that you can't get one at cost?

I paid £13,200 a month ago for a 60 reg ex demo in yellow with 3 boxes, Nav IV and a full tank of fuel.

Full price now for a new GSA with 3 boxes is around £15,500 (price increase, VAT increase, bla bla bla... :blagblah), I think you can get it around £14,500 without p/x.

Or just wait until June which is when BMW normally comes out with the free panniers offer.

Of course pre-owned/demo will get you much better deals but that's a different story.
