Has any one got a Nolan flip lid are they quiet on the move
have been looking at 103N with blue tooth and wonder if it will work
with Star com unit :nenau

the N103 has been vastly improved on the old N102.
there is less noise due to the internal sun visor instead of the old external one
what i will say is go for the size that is snug as possible as the lining does give quiet a bit on this helmet.
there is the xlite version but thats around £80 more i think.
the chin vents can be a bit of a pain if they come loose from the mech, but easily repairable.
fitting the NCOM system can seem a bit daunting if your going for the full bluetooth kitk, but it fits and hides really well. also being the new bluetooth 2 it has solved the disconnecting issue when used with some makes of sat nav.
very comfy, slightly on the heavy side but hey, it's made of Lexan which is a very strong polycarbonate.
not a bad helmet for the money, it's main sellng point would be the integral NCOM communication kit you buy seperately.
helmet is £264, headset is £50, bluetooth unit i believe is around £160, so it soon adds up mate.:tears

hope this helped m8

Definitely not! I bought one to replace the first generation Nolan flip, and after a month I switched to a Schuberth.

They look great and have a better visor (pinlock) and sun visor, but I found it so loud I couldn't bear it. This was on a K1200RS mind, so you may find that different bikes don't cause the same amount of noise, though I did try both the shorty standard screen and huge touring screen...

Have been out on the 800GS with the N103 and it's much quiter than on the K. I'd still say go for the Schuberth if you can afford it, but if not the 103 would be a good second best. You will need ear plugs though!
