new maps - no volume

I have just updated my mapsource to verison 2008 and also my zumo to the latest
software.
Unfortunately I have now lost my sound. The gps and mp3 from the zumo is barely
audible. Its there but very quiet. Anyone got any fixes/ ideas?:thedummy
