Garmin is pleased to announce that new software is available for the Quest.

The new software is: Quest Ver. 3.30

You can download the new software from our website by clicking the following link:

Changes made from version 3.00 to 3.30:

* Improved city searches to include the entire state name if an abbreviated version is not determined.
* Added ability to view depth markings on BlueChart data in preferred units.
* Corrected transfer of custom waypoint symbols from MapSource to the Quest.
* Corrected display of large German cardinal letters on the Map page.
* Added the display of tide stations.
* Improved ability to search addresses that contain extended (alphanumeric) house numbers.

Has anybody updated from version 3.30 to this new version yet? If so, is it worthwhile for general road use?

Any complications as a result of the software update etc etc?

I have, it says it has better address search ability. No reason not to do it, only took a couple of minutes.

If it f*cks up I'll re-load the old firmware :)
