New speed limits on A32 between Fareham and Alton?

I noticed this week that lots of 50 signs have been put up on the A32 between villages along the A32. No doubt the usual summertime loons have spoiled their own fun as plod now have a new yardstick to beat us with when deploying cameras and unmarked patrols.

Any motorcyclists hitting one of the many (concreted in place) 6ft tall steel-poled 50 signs is gonna meet an ironic death in the interests of 'road safety'.

Out today found new 50 limit on the A32 from Wickham to north of the crossroads before the Droxford straight to compliment the West Meon to just north of the West Meon Hut and Loomies addition.

In the old days accident stats had to be proved before implementing new limits
