New toy. Honda nc750xd

Then I got real cranky and bought a Honda NC750XD
And now I think of my life as beige
Tomorrow I'm going to sell my Jag and buy a Honda Jazz
It going to be a.... What was I singing about my memory's not what it was

:dabone

My dicks big enough to not need a 100bhp to get to tesco

Yes ,That's it Rob, I've fitted the panniers on now, and made a rear rack to carry a quick release top box from the Integra, The panniers are more of a styling exercise really, don't really hold much stuff,
I'm just in the process of making a centre stand for it, It's at powder coat at the moment, Sorry the pics not much good but it was taken quickly to show someone the carrier/top box,

Love the song Wreford,

Richard :blast Just you watch out mate,

I think it deserves a nice pair of classic '60's polished stainless mudguards. :augie

That looks really nice Rob, I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised when you check
Your MPG stats, I have the NM4 version and it's returned 84 mpg on a few occasions , I
mostly use the S mode, Never bother with the manual gear change paddles,

Interesting about the suspension, look forward to your comments ,
But to be honest a bike should return 80+ mpg!!
I have a large estate car that produces 180 ish hp,will seat 5 and luggage in comfort, do nearly 140 mph yet return over 60mpg.

So why do we accept that most bikes only return 40/50 mpg?

What all 3 at the same time

Regarding the crap from the rear wheel, Honda themselves did a piece of kit for the 700 that goes under the rear seat that extends the width and cuts down the muck that goes over the seat/rider tremendously. I would imagine that it would probably fit the 750 too. Well worth fitting and only noticeable to those in the know.

I've heard of that recently. Apparently the Oceania region gets a rear mudguard that works. Costs £50

Haven't had time to fit it yet but have been in touch with a couple of guys who have fitted them and they reckon they fit straight on.

Finally got round to fitting the Nitron shock on the NC. The difference is amazing. If you want a dramatic improvement to your NC then either fit a CBR600 shock or treat yourself to a quality rear shock. The CBR shock is an identical fitment and length to the NC shock.

My bike now feels very balanced the feeling that the rear was sliding away when cranked over has now gone. A big plus is that the front and rear work in harmony so the forks feel much better.

Bling poking out (Yes I know the bike grubby but I'd sooner be riding than cleaning.

I just need to sort out a bracket for the remote reservoir.

Looking good Rob, nice little set up there . Great fun and WILL be as reliable and easy to live with as they come.
Just need a little cover for the shock :thumb2

if thats running Dunlop tyres get on the phone to honda ( not dealer, but honda themselfs ) and get them replaced with something decent as the Dunlops are not supplied in the uk.
check if its due the luggage lock recall and / or instrument panel recall also
