Be interesting to ride the new version to compare it to the first 9 Tracer which I had the misfortune to buy new and sold 4 months later. Terrible fuelling, suspension was awful, clocks filled with water and Yamaha where truly appalling after sales service was enough for me. The trade in value was a shock when I got rid of it for a 30yr Anniversary GSA which was a great bike

Picked up my new Tracer 7GT on Saturday, it's so light and flick-able still running in but definitely no fueling issues . Just waiting for the quick shifter to come off back order.
Pleased with it so far, only done 170 miles on it though.
I absolutely love my 2025 MT-07. Fantastic engine and they just keep improving it. The Y-Amt gearbox isn't as smooth as the DCT in various Honda's but it gets the job done. If the Tracer had been available last year as an auto I would have got that.
Enjoy

I had the very first MT09 Tracer at Skellerns in Cheltenham in 2015. It was very much built to a price with nasty Dunlop tyres not on the retail market, cheap suspension, horrible seat (I fitted a Bagster) but I had none of the fuelling woes some moaned about.
For the price it was a decent bike as the wonderful engine made up for some of the inadequacies. I kept it for 2 years before chopping in for a Triumph Explorer, which was a mistake. With the new seat, the Tracer was a decent tourer with Givi E21 boxes.
The Tracer 9 has evolved somewhat as they have moved it up market to be closer to the R1250RS and Z1000SX.
The MT07 has always been a cracking bike. It was a loan of one from Skellerns that got me riding again after a lay off due to illness. My Super Ten was just too heavy at the time. Shame there was not a Tracer version of the MT07 back in 2015.
