New Tyre Time

Just about to change my tyres. I've just got 14000+ miles out of a set of Tourances. Daily commute of 35 miles each way (town, A road and Motorway) plus 1200 miles return 100mh trips to France every two months or so and the usual week-end ride-outs etc. Little off-roading.
Am I lucky? A great rider (nah!)? Or is this about right/bad/good for Tourances?
Anyway despite their faults in the wet think I'll have to get another set.
Any comments?

Just got 14000 miles out of mine too. Rear was pretty much done (lots of motorway, London/Paris once a month), front still had a couple 1000s miles left, but I decided to replace both at the same time (with same!), winter approaching.

I guess if you don't drive too agressively that's what you can get from Tourances (I drive on road 99% of the time).
