Has anyone Tried out or bought the new 2015 Crossrunner yet , If so I'd be very interested to hear what you think please,

My dealer has one in, but it's not going on demo until March,

My dealer has his almost ready now, just needs run in. I think it is vastly improved in the looks department and having had three Honda V4's in the past, I'm quite eager to take one on a good test run.

I've never had a V4, and liked the riding position and seat height. Heated grips, sat nav, top box and centre stand , all std, Just a pity the std screen is non adjustable, please let me know how you get on with it Davy,

Gave one a run today, riding position great, handle very well, and the v 4 vtec kicking in at 6,500 revs is music for the soul

I think this is the answer to my European trip.....sat nav, centre stand, heated grips as std just adds to the appeal.

Great report, I'm making my mind up this week

Sounds like you prefer the tracer over the crossrunner......I just fancy the V4, the yam is a bargain of a bike

My mate tried both back 2 back, he did not like the iffy fuelling and the wiggle the bike had when you made progress on the tracer so brought the crossrunner, there's no deny the Honda is a well made bike and sounds nice with the akro, also it was the extras that swayed him over to the crossrunner but then it's £2k dearer .

The thing I was most disappointed about the CR was the lack of soul Honda seem to have engineered into their wonderful V4. I've had three VFRs and loved them all, but the CR was blandness personified, unfortunately. There's no doubting its superior build quality tho'. The Tracer was more fun with the main downside being the snatchy throttle. But there was a load of slack in the throttle and I believe many have been able to sort that little problem out. But the abiding memory was how much fun the Yamaha was. The same way that the KTM 1190 is way more fun than the toilet.

Road tested the 2015 model and was a wee bit disappointed with it compared to the 2014 model, front end didn't feel as "planted" don't know why but it doesn't fill me with confidence the old model does.

Also sitting at 95-100 the V-tec was hunting to the point of annoying the tits off me.....

So it's off to test the versy1000 Saturday
