Thinking of going to New Zealand for a trip and, perhaps, hiring bikes and/or taking a guided tour for some of the time. Does anyone have any recommendations/don'ts regarding who to hire from/tour with [don't mind doing some off-roading - gravel tracks and the like]?

I did a tour with them last November and I would heartily recommend them. Carole and Mike provided excellent service from the initial enquiry by e-mail all the way through to the end of our tour. They do the fully guided tours, self guided with all accomodation booked and detailed route plans (that's what we ended up doing) or just bike hire on its own.
