I usually propose a Saturday breakfast meet when this show is on but we had a meet up last Saturday.

Also, I am booked in for an operation this Thursday (still at risk of being postponed) so may not be able to attend.

I am aware current weather conditions are restricting biking for many. However, that doesn’t mean a breakfast meet up could not be organised if anyone wants to plan it.

Thanks
Gerry

Hope the weather doesn't create problems 😕

I’m planning to go Saturday a.m. but I’m not sure how many stalls will be there from around the country, might be a bit thin :nenau .

If anyone notices the stand, can they take a peek at Solo motorcycle bump starters for me? Price vs quality kinda thing? I’m tempted to splurge on one so I can play with the bike I’m not tough enough to start

Wish I had seen your post before I left the show. I paid more attention to their bike lift.

I didn’t get any pricing but I thought the bike starters looked good.

Proud to see Mick A and Marco risked the ice again to get to show on bikes.

Only a handful of bikes there and the parking surface was sheet ice 🧊

I popped over just for an hour or so around lunch and picked up a few little bits (some more JB weld, another puncture kit etc..). It was good to see a handful of bikes there, mine wasn't one of them. I did like the GS on knobblies, maybe Dunlop Trailmax tyres ?

I didnt take many pictures but this old Triumph looked amazing.

I know its a bike show, but did like this Ferrari in the car park.

I then returned to my heated seat/steering wheel and climate control and was thankful for them on the trip home

I had a look for you. They looked good, but then for a grand for the standard one (in pics here) so they should!

Thanks BLL, I’d seen them online though prices weren’t available. They’re certainly pricey…though I suspect resale value will hold up well if looked after. Bit of a bigger outlay than anticipated though. Will have to add a battery to that too

Bit cheaper here on the bay with possible haggle on a battery. Not sure how much use 4 years is tho

Cheers Steve. I was considering buying that used one but wondering how much extra a new one would be. They do seem to hold their money

What happens if you stall it a mile from home or stop for a brew and have to kickstart the bike?

Might as well learn to start it using the proper procedure……or sell the bike
