Live in St.Ives CAMBS - Picked up my new R1200GS from Balderston today :-))

Never realised there were so many GS owners in the area - hardly ever see a GS when I'm out on the bike - having said that I did see a blue/white 1150? along with another bike at the Q8 garage in St.Ives today.

Is there an owners club nearby?

It weren't me guvnor! But I do fill up at the Q8 opposite Vindis regularly. I commute to work in Cambridge through St Ives and if you see some idiot on a blue & white 1150 at 0630 and 1530 then that's likely to be me :)

Engineer,

I got a cheery wave from a the rider of a red 1200GS whilst in St Ives that day. I was with my brother in law, he was on his red and black Yamaha Thundercat.

We were just leaving Tecstar who manufacture the Starcom Intercom kit, they'd had an open day,.

If it was you, sorry I couldn't wave back but I was trying to negotiate getting out of the side turning.:D

Hello,

Hope to get up to the BMF on Saturday afternoon - so hope to find all the BMW and GS related stands.

No problem - realised that you were trying to turn onto the main road at the time.
