Hi all when is next meet in the east , :beerjug: fenman

I'll drink to that one :beerjug: . . . . but not while I'm riding of course :thumb

Yeah, when is it???

Just an idea, but Ipswich has the best pub ever, it's called the Dove Street Inn - they just won the Camra East Anglia & Suffolk Pub of the Year 06 . Hubby & I are friends with the Landlord & Landlady . . . . they are fellow bikers too and Ady (landlord) is the chairman of the Copdock Classic Motorcycle club. If people fancied it, I could clear it with them for us to have a meet there . . .they do have a certain amount of carpark at the rear of the pub :D so I'm sure we could park a few BM GS's there :thumb it's be quite a novelty for them to have us there I'm sure :D

What d'ya fink?? :beerjug: :drinkinpa

Hi Shirl, the East Anglian region has always been a little split, probably cos its the biggest "Geographically speaking" region in the country. :hide ( that will increase the post counts :D )

There was a good response a while ago in the Colchester/Chelmsford area with regular meets at Maldon. I hope they are still meeting up. :thumb We, from the mid to western Anglian area always move around with our monthly meets, but most meets are mainly around the middle of the region.

Thanks for the suggested venue but probably best left till next spring/summer and then we could all meet up there or at the coast nearby.

We had a group ride out to the Copdock show last year and all enjoyed it. Thanks to Ady for his efforts. :thumb

No problem, it was just a thought, that's all ;) The Dove Street Inn is a fine pub for Real Ales :thumb :beerjug: and Karen does a fab beef & ale stew, chilli & rice or if you're a veggie, a rather nice veggie curry :thumb they do other nice grub too.

Hey ho - maybe next year then?

Do you have any of your meets at a weekend? only week nights are difficult for me & hubby. If you did one at a weekend, we'd be able to come :thumb

It'd be great to meet some of you some time soon :)

How many of you are there usually?

Cheers

A weekend meet would be better for many - I for one would be willing to travel farther afield at the weekends.

Ady & Karen are very good friends of ours too :D

I think a GS weekend meet in the Suffolk area would be a great idea :thumb
