Nice Bandit 1250

Bought this beautiful 1250S as a stop gap when my 1250GS was stolen.
Toured Ireland and it didn't miss a beat.
So quick, pretty comfy, and low tech. Bought with 14500 on the clock, added a powerbronze touring screen, radiator grill, soft luggage, but now sporting rear rack and top box purely for commuting reasons, although I'm not a fan but its a practical mod that can be removed at will.
It's grown on me as I had a 600S some years ago and regretted selling it almost immediately.
What a cracking example, there's a lot to be said for "Low Tech"!

Just bought this from a dealer to use through the winter as a cheap commuter I can park anywhere. They took it as a trade in and won't retail it so I got it mega cheap. Took it out for an hour beforehand and thought the engine was bloody lovely and for the weight of the thing I was really happy with the handling.

Initially I was pretty put off by the AliExpress treatment the previous owner has given it. But it rode really well, lots of service history, recent new discs and tyres, braided lines etc.

Now to give it a good clean and order some regular bolts and an exhaust that won't make the neighbours hate me... (some of the blue has to stay though, it's meant to be a cheap bike after all!)

Argh "pro bolt" tat. Remember that stuff from the 90's.

Red bolts that ended up pink after 2 months.

I think some of the stuff on mine might actually be titanium which is really bloody expensive. If only the original bits came with it 😥

Nice, in the old days all those blue bits were trendy, maybe not so now, bit like an old lady who had tattoos that were really crisp and attractive when she was 25, but at 80??
Just to show I'm not sexist, some old boys tattoos end up the same......😬
Mind you, I've seen some lovely blinged up bikes.
