Family want me to book a nice cottage for 4/5 days over february half term. I've got visions of a clean, spacious 3 bedroomed cottage a bit off the beaten track with a log/coal fire.
Must be near a decent pub for drinks/food and hopefully in yorkshire/derbyshire area.
Anyone know of anywhere?

You could always stay at MrIFans place when he's not home. Nice authentic Derbyshire country retreat and you get a wake up call from the cattle outside your bedroom window

The slaughtered lamb (3 Stags) is just a gentle stagger away :friday

Oopsdidn't spot the spacious bit :D

Thats just what i've been looking for, but i need a place that allows dogs:(

Shame really, looks ideal.

If you're just looking for somewhere nice to stay, rather than the Peaks specifically, check out some of the other Vivat Trust properties. Quite a few allow dogs.
Failing that, as Rob says, there is always room here. It's a bit cosy but a lot tidier since Kim moved in :D
