Used to belong to a friend of mine, Gordon and was originally Dakar Yellow.

I got all the original Black/White Dakar tank panels from it, plus front wheel/forks/calipers/yokes/seat/lights/clocks/Dakar screen/bars/TT and standard mudguard/Rear shock etc................ all sat in the shed

Hi Johnny, what’s he done to the wheels/ suspension then ?
How much bigger is the front ?
What did he do the conversion for ? Did he spend over 3k as the add says ?

Questions, questions, it does look, interesting though.
Cheers
Gordon

Gordon, it was built as an Adventure Tourer and motor was stock, so were exhausts (I had the Staintune exhaust too).
Suspension wise he fitted 50mm Marzocchi conventional forks from a KTM, plus KTM 21" front wheel and brakes
Rear shock is WP enduro unit for a Dakar Rallye bike
Clocks are full TT Rallye unit with roadbook,GPS mount
Tank/Seat are TT
Rear end is 650 GS subframe/standard rack
Bars are Renthal braceless Fatbars with modified clamps
etc
Spoken to guy he sold it too and he didn't get on with it, hence he's selling it
Think my mate got less than £4k when he sold it,doubt he cost him £3k extra to build, more £1500-2000
He's a pic, in its former yellow livery............

Shame the last owner has taken off the TT Rallye screen............muppet

Definitely the same bike...........Carbon frame protectors were a on-off and fabricated locally (here in Yorkshire) by the original owner

New owner

Hi nice pics in yellow. Im the new owner picked it up Xmas Eve and jumped on the ferry to France four days later and promptly stacked it into a herd of Deer in a blizzard not the best move I ever made. Im OK apart from I hadnt locked the fuel cap and ended up covered in fuel along with my luggage, bike damage was broken lever throttle peg and cosmetic to tank and mudguard, have to say the bars stood up well and the tank for that matter but that had more to do with me being under it when it went down.
Im hoping the next trip will be more succesfull.
Have you anymore info or pics on the bike would appreciate it if you have.
Cheers Rob
