Nikwax, Has/does anyone use it? My jacket sprung a leak today (usualy 100% wetproof no matter how heavy the rain or how long I'm out). It sounds like good stuff or is it just good marketing? Also is it best to use the clean wash then wash in or just the spray on.
Cheers in advance.

Use it at least once a year with my textiles, does exactly what it says on the tin so to speak.

Personally I use Nikwash followed by Nikwax in the washing machine rather than the spray on version which I keep for the tent. :thumb

I agree with thunder ,wash first then re-proof for best results.

+1 Great stuff use on all my waterproof gear :thumb2

It is recommended to make sure the washing machine is clear of any detergents first so an empty wash cycle before your gear:thumb2
What I tend to do sometimes is run the jacket/trousers through the machine to clear out the detergents and this also gives them a pre wash so to speak.
