Nippy Normans

I ordered a couple of parts 10 days ago, got the receipt to say I have paid, but nothing since. I have sent a couple of polite emails to them, but no responce at all.
Are they having problems or is anyone else having issues with them? Not really very 'nippy'.
I have just opened a paypal case to see if I can jog them along :(
 
I've had quite a few things from 'Nippy', most have been delivered in a timely manner but a couple have been delayed, bearing in mind the postage costs NN's charge we should expect first class delivery.

Not sure I'll buy from them in the future, unless they have something I need and can't get anywhere else.

Don't expect a polite response if you complain :blast A company with a strange customer satisfaction policy :eek:
 
Sad to see what a company that used to be excellent at communication has gained such a bad reputation. I had a fair few items pre ordered before the 800 was released, and got regular updates on when stuff was due in, as well as discussing fitting and technical stuff with Norman between the launch and his bike arriving. I'm actually pretty gutted that things seem to have gone to the dogs :confused:
 
I have stopped using NN due to supplying shoddy gear and not responding to E-Mails.
 
Hopefully they will sort my order out soon, I know its only ten days but Im used to the excellent service I get from the likes of Motoworks and Sherlocks (next day, 2 at the most). I use my bike for work, so its nice to have an idea when stuff is coming to plan a 'down day' to fit them.

Glad I used paypal now. Its a real shame as I wouldnt mind ordering one of his little air compressors that are on offer as well, but this is making me think twice :nenau.
 
Nippy Normans got in touch today! It seems that they did send me an email stating that the Autoswitch I was after was out of stock with a 2-3 week wait. Unfortunately I never received that one. The only reason I can think off is that it was sent to an old email address that they had on file?

Anyway, I have sourced another Autoswitch and ordered it from Woodys Emporium.

Once the dialog flowed we have managed to adjust my order to replace the Autoswitch with one of those little compressors, so hopefully all sorted.

I think if there had been a contact phone number this could have been resolved straight away, but otherwise Im happy with the outcome (as long as the parts arrive :eek).
 
I've always found NN very efficient, I recently returned an item and recieved immediate refund.

I think persecute is a bit strong. My initial post was asking if any one else had experianced problems, or indeed if there was a problem at Nippys end.

Nippy emailed me this morning and pointed out that in one of my emails I had entered an extra letter, so they had replyed to a wrong email. I am happy to accept that as my error. At the end of the day, he has sorted out my order and my parts are on the way as I type. I think it is only fair to post that he has done this and I am happy with the outcome.

I still think its good to talk though and a contact number would have really helped.
 
For what it's worth, I ordered a Mudsling and a couple of cans of ACF50 on saturday night. I was pleasantly surprised to see them on my doorstep when I got home tonight. So, for me at least, great service & I'll definitely be using them again.

The bits I ordered last Friday arrived today :-)

I too have used NN a few times and service has been OK on each occasion. That sounds like damnation by faint praise - the postage costs would sometimes suggest guaranteed next day delivery should be expected but nevertheless, I'd use them again.
