NN Gel seat or Airhawk for 1200 GS

Got a friend with a 1200 GS and major bum ache, common problem i am told. My 1150 never seems to present that problem. Anyhow, can anyone shed any light as to wheter this person should go for the NN Gel seat or for the Airhawk?

Airhawk everytime for me

You can take an Airhawk with you but the Gel seat stays with the bike

I use the airhawk, once you get use to how much air you need which is not a lot you will not be without it, I rode across Morocco with mine with no real problem.Also if you sell the bike it will go on another.

airhawk takes a bit of adjustment and fits on anything

Had a gel insert in the seat of my 1150, the airhawk is much better

another +1 for Airhawk.

Like Neil W I also had gel on my 1150 and found it didn't really make much difference. My Airhawk has now been to the Arctic, to Afica and all over Europe and I'd recommend one to anyone (unless you're already struggling to touch the ground )
