The old 11gs was running a tad wobbly on the centre stand , on tick over.
After 5000 miles trip it was due for a service...
I had a sneaky look at the valve n rocker side play sticky...
set me rocker side play about 0.15 thou on both cylinders ...(1st time ive checked this)
set the inlet and exhaust clearances as per manual.....
put everything back...(bloody engine bars)
Started the bike up n........no jigy ,jigy...wobble or tap tap...
on tick over the bike was very stable..(ie pots in balance) also it revved a bit more sharp...
ive done the valves before and never had this result.....
so to bump steptoes sticky ..

It dose make a bloody difference. mine was at the high end of tolerences 0.40 slack fit on feeler guage)
