No new 700/800's?

BMW are not accepting new orders for 700 and 800 models, so a couple of dealers tell me. Anyone know what is coming as a replacement? Is it just a model upgrade or a significant change?

BMW are refusing to sell F700/800's to the British Isles following yesterdays referendum, its the price we pay for independance.

At dealers yesterday , I wouldn't get exited, looks like revised 800GS will get new euro4 compliant exhaust, new clocks, ride by wire throttle with rain, road , dynamic , enduro and enduro pro modes and that's about it.
If this is true, it's a little disappointing really.

no panic, it's just the production line is being changed for the new Euro 4 version bikes as opposed to the previous Euro 3 spec ones

That's a bit of an anti climax after all the rumours about 900cc or 3 cylinders or a challenge to the Africa Twin.

I suspect there's too much going on elsewhere in terms of product development to make a comparatively small market bike like the 800 a priority

There don't seem to be any deals on the current models but maybe the revised bike will be a similar price. There must be a limit to what folks will pay for an 800 parallel twin, Cotswold have fully loaded bike 800gs for getting on £14k.
