Nockalmstrasse - restricted access

Severe flooding over the weekend has led to landslips and access to the Nockalmstrasse from the north, Innerkrems is not possible.

Something similar happened when we were last there - 2018 IIRC. We could still ride the pass from the east, but had to take a huge detour from Innerkrems, which took us through some fascinating private roads northbound, through Bundschuh, ending up near the foot of the Katschberg.

when I was there in 2014 the main B99 was closed due to slippage, north of Malta where we were staying. They had an alternative route via the other side of the valley, including a section on gravel. I took it on my Super Tenere on a solo ride to scope out the ride. I repeated the route the following day with friends but took the A10 to get north of that bit. It's a very unstable area geologically.

The A449 just north of Monmouth had a very minor rockfall that must have be at least 6 months ago and apart from putting cones in the nearside lane they have done absolutely fuck all about it! Useless bastards.
