Just wanted to take time to say a big thanks to all the guys at NOG for (hopefully) sorting out all the warranty issue on my GSA and for keeping me in good humour about the whole thing!

Great service and really much appreciated!

Top people

You may remember that I had to have a new engine fitted at 6000 miles last October due to the fact that the castings in the block where the cylinder bolts affix was porous. The turned the bike round in two days and could not be more helpfull.
Today I took it back for its " 600 " mile running in service. Dont ask why it took that long but needless to say at one point I was considering never being able to ride a bike again. They completed the service, chatted in a friendly way and the result is that the bike came out of the garage flying. AND in the process of all this no money passed hands which resulted in a free 6000 mile service.
Those that will say so they should pay for it for the inconvieniance, well they didnt have to, I wasnt expecting the service to be free just the 600 mile one.
It goes to show that they bit the bullet on that cost in the name of customer service, for which I amd gratefull.
Top blokes, top firm.:thumb

and now the not so good news......... they lent me a K1200GT SE and I took it all over the Cotswolds for 3 hours and I could not fault it. Fast smooth comfortable all the toys.......bastards....... even the wife said it looked very nice and she authorised a bike change if I wanted.....bitch.........the dilema.:nenau

Actually I had a very similar experience with Dive 90 recently when I dropped my regs in for service - no charge for the service as they logged all the labor down to a recall that Oceanic had put down on the model.

very impressed with that as customer service - totally unexpected and much appreciated!

NOG for me too :clap:clap:clap

Clarks is much closer but bought my used bike from NOG and the service and friendliness cannot be faulted in my experience, so I have stayed with them.

I did go to Clarks once for parts but did not leave with a good impression.

I'm a NOG supporter too :thumb2 They've always given good consistent service. If I could afford it they'd do all my general servicing  Sadly I can't afford the £250-£400 three times a year.

I'm hoping too that they will look favorably on the weeping seal in my already replaced (18 months ago) final drive :(

I bought my GS from Phil at NOG, he delivered it to me in Kent, gave me a great px price on my previous bike, just by looking at photos I sent him, they were so easy and helpful to deal with. I have recommended them to a mate and he went and bought a new GSA from Phil, NOG then rewarded me with a £100 voucher to use in there business. Faultless service indeed.

Could you really have a bike with Ford Cortina clocks? :)

Might have Cortina clocks, but its the clocks I`ll be looking at from now on, and what a bike, nice to get on something that does everything so easily, good one NOG, one nice sweet changeover. Good riddance GS, hello elegance and power.
