Hi folks

Had i noisey gearbox for i few weeks now.
My boss said it might be the primary output shaft
But it seems to be getting louder. i think the gearbox is probably
nackard its done 78k now. what do you think the noise could be
its like a meshing sound and only stops when you pull the clutch
in so maybe it could the clutch? dunno.

Gear box should not be knackered at that mileage unless abused, lack of regular oil changes etc. Money's on the clutch thrust bearings or pushrod. I would check them out first before pulling the box apart.

Does it rattle/chatter when it's in neutral, and goes quiet when the clutch is pulled in ?

if so, It wouldn't be the output shaft, because that wouldn't be moving/revolving - it's more likely to be the input shaft, that rotates with the engine running and with the box in neutral -but some bikes do make more noise than others, you may just have a noisy box ? , ooh err missus .

Is your clutch cable too tight and lightly spinning the release bearing until you pull the clutch ?
