Non-BMW capable repair shops in SW England?

I have a 2001 K1200LT with a failed rear ASB Motor/Pump/Servo identified by a GS-911.

Three BMW Dealers in south west England have each quoted c£1,800 for replacement, labout & VAT but someone has suggested I ask on this forum, if anyone can vouch for a capable repair shop able to tackle the job at better rates than these, but who are non-BMW affiliate?

I am in Somerset, BA4.

I may be able to offer a glimmer of hope to you, I also have a k1200lt although it has non sevo brakes as its a 2000 model. After traveling to the Beaulieu bike show a couple of years ago in very heavy rain and the bike standing all afternoon in pouring rain, riding out of the show on the grass field the ABS failed to reset and the twin ABS warning lights flashed constantly.
This situation carried on for the hundred + miles home and all the following week. I took the bike to Ocean BMW in Plymouth where the ABS unit was declaired faulty and I was quoted over £1000 for a replacement. Riding down the ramp from the workshop the ABS clicked in and the warning lights cleared and its operated normally ever since. Now I don't know if the very wet weather or riding on grass had anything to do with it but I do jam the brakes on every now and again to make the ABS work as I feel it may have been a sticking valve in the unit. Not sure how far you want to travel. You could try GCS Motorcycle services. 01202 826045. They are on the Woolsbridge Industrial Estate, just behind Three Cross Motorcycles.

Give Mike at Cardiff Motorrad a ring. He is an independant BMW specialist and does an excellent job. Once you are on the motorway, its straight into Cardiff and he is really easy to find. Very close to Train network if you need it.
