Another noocomer to the fold.
Well, sort of.
I've been dipping in and out of UKGSers for donkeys for info/help having graduated thru the original old 800 to the 1100 and now to the 1150. Don't really lust after a 1200 (yet) and as my dear old (Y2K)1150 has got me thru a lot, it'd be a bit like chucking out the dog/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend.
Lived out in the Far East for years (I had the only 1100GS in Hong Kong for a while) and have done a fair bit of riding round the countryside and the fleshpots of SE Asia so I can offer some advice on travelling around out there. My particular area of expertise is telling the difference between the sexes (in Thail bars) and knowing how to fall off bar stools painlessly.
Now back in not so sunny North Devon.
Will probably now get round to becoming a fully paid up tosser as I figure I owe you guys summat for all the stuff I've picked up from your really very good site.
So thanks for all your advice over the years and I hope I can give something back.
