bought a fancy (well, fairly basic really) e-reader and trying to load books to it.

Laptop sees the nook in 'devices & printers' but doesn't show up as a file/drive/storage device in explorer (to enable files to be copied or dragged and dropped into it). I suspect user incompetence and that the solution is probably simple like me.

Any suggestions tech gurus ?
