Apologies if this has been posted before but a quick search hasn't thrown it up and I'm not going to go through 11 pages just to avoid a repetition os something that is well worth bringing to the top of the page every once in a while.

An interactive map of Norfolk showing all types of routes and with byways being of most interest to the folk of this parish. Mind you, it's also handy to see where you shouldn't be :blast

Shame that a search doesn't throw up something similar for Cambs/Essex/Suffolk.

What it doesn't show is areas where you may be kidnapped in order to help widen the local gene pool :hide Remember that until recently NFN (Normal For Norfolk) was an oft used medical term.
Might see you on the trails sometime :thumb2

so im confused, probably because im an American, but which color paths would i be able to take my GS on?

I'm not going to go down the colour route because that's too open to confusion. However, you're allowed to ride on either BOATS (Byways Open to All Traffic) or ORPAS (Other Roads with Public Access). You can't ride on footpaths or Restricted Byways. OS 50,000:1 maps are a good investment as you will need them on the lanes at some point.

Just to make life even more complicated, the local councils aren't great about even signing routes, and do sometimes get it wrong, which is why it's a good idea to get in touch with a local group (Suffolk TRF have a heavy metal section (me!), as well as the chaps over on AdventureBikeRider.com, or AdventureTrailRider.com) as they will be able to show you around the lanes.
