I am fairly sure Treeman is as well, but he is away at the moment.
I have sent him a text.

6 down 2 to go

I will be driving most of the Suffolk route on Monday delivering Easter Eggs to Quidenham Childrens Hospice.
I will make a decision then as to which route we take.

7 down 1 to go

As I sais I will be driving the suffolk route in the disco on Monday so will be able to give it a good recce. I'm hoping to have TKC's by the time we go so this might figure in whcih route we take.

GULP...

I'm on either Pirelli Dragons or some very well worn Anakee's... Do I need some new tyres?

Walti
I am currently on 3000 mile old anakees. Although I am hoping to have TKC's I also need a new jacket and trousers as well.
With a limited budget it will probably be the clobber that comes first as the tyres are still okay.
The norfolk route is okay on Anakees as I did a fair bit of it in October without any problems.
The Suffolk route is more muddy and may present a problem if its too wet. Thats what I'll have look at on Monday.

I am a bit concerned by the numbers we had in October (13+) so I want to keep it a bit smaller hence the limit of 8. Spanfly has his name down and I'm waiting for him to confirm now that the date has been set.

I will be running another in June or July.

Ah!

Nearly new then!

They're the factory original tyres and were on the bike when I bought it, now with over 8500 miles on them (I bought it at 7000) - just about down to the wear bars... i think I'd best get some new ones!

Hi all

I drove almost all of the Suffolk route yesterday and I would think that it is 95% do-able on anakees. The other 5% involved some gooey bits which we could probably skirt around or have some fun trying.

This route involves the most amount of off-road tracks including some really nice long runs.

If we dont get much rain between now and then this will be the preferred route. I will keep you informed

New thread/poll

Okay guys.

The 7th is drawing near. My preference is for the Suffolk route which is miles and miles of interesting tracks but no water.

The Norfolk route has plenty of wet stuff so for those of you who are coming I have started another thread to give you the choice. Please vote.

Whichever one we do this month, I will do the other in June.

I havent heard from spanfly so you are welcome to come along. If that makes 9 then so be it.
