North London meeting - Thursday 11th November 2010

We have a regular meeting on the 2nd Thursday each month.

There will be the usual beakchat and bollox at Whitewebbs House, Whitewebbs Lane, Enfield, Middlesex EN2 9HW from 7.30pm.

The place is a Toby Inn, so nosebag is available. We've been offered the carvery + ice-cream for around £5 each.

That was fun

It was good to meet with those who struggled up to Whitewebbs last night. The ride back was made more interesting by the gale, but nothing too bad. I hope everyone got home safe.

What are we doing for Christmas? any suggestions? We thought it might be too late for the Toby inns in the area? How about a curry down Green St? Better than Brick lane IMHO, which has become a little too corporate.

Great Idea Nigel and good to meet you and deux belise last night. Completely agree that the suited brigade (of which I am one) and incessant hassling to enter by the door salesmen makes brick lane a less than pleasant experience these days. Could always as an alternative head Kingsley road to sample some of the Viatnemese eateries that have opened up there. Up for any offers.
