Supposebd biker friendly, Wraithrider (your pm box is full call me on 07973 782133)and myself are going for a look see with aview to a regular meet on a week and day to be decided.

Anyone interested in joining us the more the merrier.

Okay Roger, here's some directions. Hopefully no one will get lost as they're being sorted by a Tosser with a 'couple' of glasses of shiraz under his belt.

First, if you are contemplating coming to a Northern North West venue and you're available why not come anyway, make it a 1st meeting of sorts.

Heversham is smack bang on the A6. The pub, the 'Blue Bell' is on the main road and if you're obeying the speed limit you won't miss it!

If you are heading South on the M6 I would suggest coming off at J36, head toward Kendal and take the 1st left toward Milnthorpe on the B6385 for about 2 miles. Then turn right onto the A6 and Heversham's about 1/2 a mile away.

Heading North the same directions apply.

If you're coming from the West go for Kendal then take the A6 South to Heversham.

I can't claim any local knowledge here as this Essex boy moved to Kendal in September - from Plymouth.

Better Directions

I took the bike out and checked out the directions I gave last night to the 'Blue Bell' @ Heversham. They are cr*p!

Way to go is:

Come off M6 J36 and head towards Kirby Lonsdale on A65.

After a couple of hundred metres take the 1st exit at next roundabout and head toward Crooklands.

Crooklands is less than a mile away. In the village take a left onto the B6385 to Milnthorpe. Milnthorpe is about 3 miles away and road changes to B6384 somewhere. IGNORE the signs to Heversham as the pub is not in the village but on the A6.

In Milnthorpe turn right onto A6 and pub is about a mile away on the LHS and looks like:
