Hi all over half way through this years Spanish trip been down south for a while currently in Toledo for second day hotel Eurostar is very well priced but an extra 9 euros for secure parking.
Just looking to head up towards A Coruna and then stop in the Picos area any thoughts on decent places to stay in both areas and if your that way now how's the weather conflicting reports via tv and internet

Baiona is a very nice place to be down on the west Coast and could be a good opportunity to see a little of Portugal if that fits with your plans

La Coruna - If you're looking to hit town I've stayed at the Hotel Sol http://www.hotelsolcoruna.com/html/index2.htm which was well located - 55 Euros for a double and secure parking in a car park under the hotel. I used booking.com to book.

For the Picos, depending on your budget one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in was the Hotel Del Oso, Cosgaya. http://www.hoteldeloso.com/ - My room 59 Euros (off season, again using booking.com). A very classy place with an excellent restaurant.
A more budget concious option is Peña Sagra on the edge of Potes.. http://www.psagra.com/ They serve excellent Lamb chops!

Parking in terms of security not an issue in the Picos.

I'll be returning to the Hotel Del Oso for the umpteenth time in August: a great hotel and well placed for exploring the roads and scenery of the Pics.

Hi thanks for your advice due to finding some stunning roads and countryside in the Sierra De Gredos only made it to the Ibis in Salamanca today but we are going up to Jim & Pillers for two days from tomorrow
