i have never had any problem with chain final drives
since the advance of x ring technolagy ..fit a scottoiler 30 to 40 k is esaily achievable
rarely do i have to adjust the chain in between tyre changes ..so im keping an eye on the 800 series less complicated [no servo no final drive problems ] hope they dont use the same fual pump set up though
for the more serious off roaders it also opens up lots of options to change the gearing before or when when you arrive at your off road destination
yamaha arnt compicatiing things ....................
