Have just fitted the (020 shod) cast yellow wheels to my 1150. Look on it as a 'cheap' security measure as i'm guessing that no-one would want to steal it? Have come into work today via the scenic route -a 30 minute ride up the north cornish coast road (to scrub the tyres in). The handling with a 17" front wheel is superb!. What a transformation! Not really found out what contribution the 020's make to this, but overall the effect is fantastic.

Was going to save the spoked wheels for off-road forays, but Level 2 MBW course and possibly a KTM weekend might convince me that a second bike might be the best choice.

(yes i know the spark plug cover's missing, and if the hedge or anything else 'green' needs attention, then there is a whole horticultural department here that can attend to it)

wheels

Please keep this major handling improvement quiet.Otherwise the price of wheels will go though the roof, and I need another front to finish of someone elses bike so they move over to the darkside, and ever other GS will handle as good as ours.Ssshhh :D

seen the light

Now come on you must complete your bike. How about these?

A useful role model, but 'elegant taste' decrees that the next and probably final colour mod will be to mandarinise (made up word) the H&B engine bars. Besides which, whilst my dip and main beam aux lights aren't as large as those illustrated, they are bl**dy bright and they have the added 'bonus' of having yellow lenses - "which is nice".
