I'm moving to Darlington on Fri, and wondered if there were any regular meet ups or ride outs?

I'm very partial to a good brekkie and would like to learn what cafes and dealers are good, bad, rip off, etc. (I've read the greasy spoons thread but I dont know where half these places are...)

I'm on a GT at the moment so offroading is kinda limited but I'm slowly wearing down SWMBO to get a GS back in the garage....

There's usually a monthly meet for a pint and some food, first Monday of the month and any rides locally will be posted in here too.

Darlington..nicely situated to join in with North East & Yorkshire sections.

North East July meeting will be 5th July

Hograost w/end 2nd-4th July so next run out probably be 11th

thanks guys. Asked my Rachel where that where ST John's Chapel was and she knew immediately - even giving directions door to door!

Is that meeting usually on bike or car?

Also, as soon as everything's unpacked (or when Rachel's distracted with curtains), I'll be off on my bike - looking to go over the Buttertubs pass... is there a good greasy spoon type place to be had at an end?

Doesn't really matter either way, but the roads around there are good.

We just tend to have a couple of drinks, maybe a bite to eat, bit of a natter and before you know it it's time for bed.
