Here and there, now and then.
Has anyone any comments to make on their experiences of using Bridgestone Battlax BT45 tyres. I am considering fitting a pair to my Harley Sportster. The standard fitment American Dunlops although OK in the dry, don't inspire confidence on a wet road.

And that could just be the rub here, on 50hp 500cc twins they are great. The Mrs fit a pair to a bandit 600 and found them not as good on that particular bike, though still far from bad. I'd check out what other riders of your bike recommend first;)

I use them on both my Guzzi's. Similar to the Harley i.e. big torquey lowish hp v-twins carrying a bit of weight. They are fantastic - stable, good turn in, and excellent wet weather grip. They are THE most popular tyre amongst the tonti frame guzzisti. My only gripe is they don't last as long as some. But.....I'd rather have grip and a 4000 mile tyre than a teflon tyre that lasts 10,000miles. False economy is skimping on rubber as you'll end up slinging it up the road if you use Cheng Shins :rob

My son has these tyres fitted to his 883 sportster. Seem to be very good, reasonable longevity 8000 miles for the back, good handling and good grip wet or dry.
