Im just really fussy about wind blast. That configuration works really well at 5ft 11 ish.

Try setting your Xscreen closer to the screen with a gap between the two of about 20mm. It will squeeze the airflow coming off the main screen between the two providing less buffeting. Which is how it’s designed to work.

It's pretty good the way it is but I'll give your suggestion a go. That xscreen has been on so many bikes! Can't do without it! Solves so many problems easily:beerjug:

I love my stubby pipe. Better than a Y piece in my opinion. And makes removing the rear wheel a doddle as well as accepting bigger luggage.:thumb

I know what you mean…, but I went the other way.

I tried a stubby and using a GSXR600 exhaust tip it looked really good, but I still prefer the tone of the y-piece and Remus Ti that I have fitted now. I made up a relocating kit that means I can use 2 full-sized panniers with the Remus too, when I need them.

That looks great much better than mine and its only done 25k Have you had it from new?

No I'm the second owner. Bought it last summer with 50,000 on it. I do about a 1,000 miles a week on it now to and from work. It was off road December/January having a Mikey Boy refresh(various parts). I googled the registration and found a blog all about the previous owners travels around Europe which was interesting.

She ain’t a true adventure, she has the SE tank and beak plus all the panniers....75000 mls...
