Yes the weather window had to be exploited and so we set off for the cliffs, Folkestone (Capel-Le-Ferne to be exact) was the destination and the Cliff-Top Cafe was calling to us for brekkie.

For the first time in many years, Mrs WWW was on the back. Dave-The-Onions and Mrs DTO were along as well.

Blue skies and just a little bit chilly made for a cracking ride, the only issue was the wind, my god it was (and still is as I write this) blowing a gale.

The GS was deemed comfortable by Mrs WWW so there may be more outings to come, whether on the GS though is,as yet, unclear.

There you go, told you it wasn't much of a report, it wasn't much of a ride to be honest, Broadstairs, Folkestone, Ashford, Canterbury and then back to Broadstairs. Still we enjoyed ourselves.

Where's the compulsory picture of breakfast?

Looks like a good day. We had the sun without the wind in Scotland, well Ayrshire and Galloway did anyway.

Don't clean it. The dirt protects the paint against the sun and fading:thumb

I remember going to broadstairs as a kid. Tombstoning off the end of the pier/jetty thingy and swimming back through the diesel strewn water to the beach and then doing it all again....... anyhoo i digress whats with the metal poles and barbed wire down the side of the driveway

It's a nice cafe with a good view on a sunny day. It is ALWAYS windy in Capel. I went out with a girl who lives opposite the cafe users ago. She was gorgeous. Tracy McSmythurs, where are you now???

If you fancy a bigger, better more traditional greasy spoon cafe, try the Airport Cafe near Sellinge on the A20. Highly recommended. No view, though.

....... or the Blue and White just three miles or so up the road - fantastic sausages!!! :drool
